And that is the problem! The guys he fought and dominated where not bums or lesser competition as you put it! Its not mayweathers fault that he made them look lesser in the ring! I don't think he should be discredited for polishing his skills and getting better at his craft then everyone else, its just not fair imo!

The only reason that ko stands out is bc of how controversial the 1st 3 fights where! So when marquez finally laid pac out it looked like the greatest ko ever but like I said before it took him 4 fights to crack pacs code, not that impressive to me! Name another fighter marquez has knocked out like that? I named 3 that may has dominated and there's more of them! To me that's more impressive! Marquez will probably never ko someone like that again but may just dominated guerrero in almost classic mayweather fashion and might do it again in his next fight!

Im not trying to discredit that ko, I actually see your point in it being a memorable moment in boxing that stands out! I just think this thread is an attempt at trying to overshadow and discredit mayweather masterful skills with it that's all!

Its hard for most fighters on history to have a win as big as the one JMM had on his last fight.

It was really one of those moments in boxing that will be remembered as a part of history.

So No floyd still doesnt have a fight or a win like that.

Still Floyd has been the best p4p fighter for a long time now so his career overall its much better... also its impressive to see a boxer be a champ for that long and taking virtually no damage but i am losing track here ... lol

Floyd did dominate Marquez in that fight but Marquez didn't really have good conditioning. He was fighting for the first time at 147 against the p4p best fighter in the world, and Marquez jumped up two weight divisions to fight him. So it's not too surprising he couldn't do any better given the circumstances.

Pacquiao is an ATG, Floyd never beat anyone of that caliber especially but devastating KO.

The only gripe you can have about Marquez is it took him 4 times just to drop MAnny.
