To me this thread looks like an attempt to discredit mayweathers performances by using marquez's ko over pac to do so! People no please stop......... that was an impressive win by marquez no doubt but to say mayweather had nothing like that in his career is just ******ed!

The fight with ricky hatton, the fight with corrales, the fight with gatti where in my opinion more impressive then that ko bc mayweather systematically destroyed them! Broke them down over time intelligently in one fight and without getting hit really! It took marquez 4 fights with pac, getting knock down 4 or 5 times to finally crack that blueprint to beat pac in spectacular forum!

Those are good wins but Marquez KO'ing Pacquiao is probably the best win in years.

Floyd obviously has a better resume overall but this win is better than any of them specifically.

Clicked the wrong option. So much shame...

The Marquez KO of Pacquiao is a more impressive victory than any single Mayweather victory. While Floyd has had some very impressive fights he hasn't had one with as big a shock factor. It was impressive to me in the sense that it made an impression on me and is a very memorable moment. It is arguably less impressive in the boxing sense of being in awe of the skill on display. A one shot KO of one of the world's perceived best will always be more memorable than a slow domination by one of the world's perceived best of lesser competition.

lets face it Pac KO was better win for Marquez than any of mayweather's or even Pac's victory ....

but ATG ranking Floyd and Manny is ahead of JMM even though they do not have a win as great as the KO of Pac, for Pac if he can fight Floyd and win that will surpass Marquez KO win, for Floyd it is a little harder even if he KO PAC pundits will take that win a notch lower than Marquez's KO... well that's how i see it...

And that is the problem! The guys he fought and dominated where not bums or lesser competition as you put it! Its not mayweathers fault that he made them look lesser in the ring! I don't think he should be discredited for polishing his skills and getting better at his craft then everyone else, its just not fair imo!

The only reason that ko stands out is bc of how controversial the 1st 3 fights where! So when marquez finally laid pac out it looked like the greatest ko ever but like I said before it took him 4 fights to crack pacs code, not that impressive to me! Name another fighter marquez has knocked out like that? I named 3 that may has dominated and there's more of them! To me that's more impressive! Marquez will probably never ko someone like that again but may just dominated guerrero in almost classic mayweather fashion and might do it again in his next fight!

Im not trying to discredit that ko, I actually see your point in it being a memorable moment in boxing that stands out! I just think this thread is an attempt at trying to overshadow and discredit mayweather masterful skills with it that's all!

The thread is about the best single win, not best streak or career or whatever. If you wanna see domination, check Canelo vs Lopez though. when is the last time Floyd did that, Gatti?

What you think - that one knockout by Marquez beats any Mayweather victory? The opponent, Pacquiao, was superior and the outcome (devastating KO) was more decisive than any fight Mayweather has ever won? Guess it depends on how you look at it..
