Some fighters have defining fights, Mayweather really doesn't have one. Maybe you can say DLH? Outside of that, he hasn't been tested by anyone outside of Castillo.

JMM has been made better and his legacy has grown because of Manny Pacquaio. JMM knocking out Manny, IS his defining legacy.

What you think - that one knockout by Marquez beats any Mayweather victory? The opponent, Pacquiao, was superior and the outcome (devastating KO) was more decisive than any fight Mayweather has ever won? Guess it depends on how you look at it..
        On a one fight basis:

Performance wise- no. Mayweather corrales was a complete domination from start to finish.

Fighter wise- yes. Manny "all time wise"is better than anyone floyd has beaten "all time wise".

I think this happened in 2009, September, believe Floyd was coming off a 2 year layoff. Insanely hard footage to find, but I managed to pull out this rarity. It's in color too
