It seems like boxing fans these days are taking on the fight promoter mentality when it comes to their favorite fighters. Instead of thinking or saying they want to see the most challenging/ intriguing fights for their favorite fighter they are so caught in purse distribution or this fight is too risky and doesn't make financial sense. D*mn! Lol. If you a boxing fan I would think you would want to the best fights regardless. In one thread a guy was talking about having no problem with an Amir Khan vs Floyd fight.
When did boxing fans start think like promotors?

while I wouldnt want to see Khan Floyd-if floyd is a 4-1 favorite over khan and a 4-1 favorite over Canelo, what is the difference in difficulty?Comment

i'd love to see the best fights lined up consecutively, but it will never happen. that's not a sustainable sport. it's never been that way, and it never will.
why do children complain about their parents regulating their lives? ignorance. parents know better and children do not. you don't let a child run its life.Comment

you can be a fan of both while still recognizing that they're financially motivated, and don't care about what the fans have to say.Comment

Yeah....it's almost like fans of the fighter don't want there favorites to possibly loseComment

If you chose to see things solely from a fan's perspective that leaves you in a world of butt hurt. I'd rather think.Comment

That is true. However I'd assume that that would take a toll on a fan of the sport. I prefer to be a fan of fighter's say like Mares. Where I don't have to defend $h!t!!Comment
