It sounds like he's jealous that Martinez has proven himself & is basically known in many parts of the world & when he came back to his country to fight he was able to pull 40,000 + fans to a soccer stadium while Narvaéz himself didn't look good at all when it was his time to shine in front of most of the world in a main stream network(against Donaire) & even thou he's been a world champ for a long time & his whole career has been built in his country, but the biggest gate he could get in his own country is to fill up the 8000+ "Luna Park" arena...l've seen Narvaéz fight plenty of times & he's a good fighter with good skills, but that night against Donaire went bad for him especially after he felt Donair's power & went into defense mode..

Omar Narvaez made Nonito Donaire look like an ordinary brawler who can easily be made to miss and can be countered consistently. He did not run. He stood right in front of Donaire and made him miss. Anyone who says otherwise is blinded by bias. The Rigondeaux fight further proves this point because he did the same thing to Donaire that Narvaez did. He just hits a lot harder.

Nonito was given the decision but he did absolutely nothing to deserve it. I know that refusing to allow the opponent to land their punches and countering and turning before they can throw a combination equals refusing to fight to some of you so called boxing fans but that characterization doesn't even stand up to the smallest bit of examination when actually watching the fight. Nonito Donaire is the most over rated fighter in the sport.
