Yeah I checked that out myself. Degale is moving at the pace of a snail and doesn't appear to be stepping up the comp anytime soon.

Well he did lose that close decision to Groves so hes not even the best prospect in the UK at that weight so he's probably afraid if Degale takes one more loss he'll lose a ton of money especially for a rematch with Groves in the UK. He probably wants to let him squash 2-3 more cans before doing that rematch and then mixing him up some top comp.

Might even be waiting for Ward to move up & Froch to leave so it'd be not easy but an easier takeover. But I'm sure they'll find some scrub or sparring partner for next weekend.
