We still don't know whether or not Pac's punch resistance is the same.

It would be Pac-Margarito all over again, except Martinez wouldn't go the distance.

I prefer manny over martinez but if manny and martinez go toe to toe with each other martinez will have the upper hand due to his reach and speed

Hard to tell, but even with how bad Sergio looks these days, at 154 Manny would probably be eaten alive. Margarito was way too big for him and he got hurt bad, Martinez would be worse....specially with pac's last fight. I don't think Martinez is near as good as he was anymore, but neither is pac, and whenever they faced each other....pac would lose.

Weight is still a factor between Martinez and PAC, but both are fading fast...
Regarding Rigo and Donaire, yes it was a schooling since Donaire learned a few things about himself (and Rigo for that matter) on that fight.

Martinez that fought JCCJr kills Manny at 154, the one that fought Murray, not so sure. He was slow, flat footed and gunshy, while the PAC that fought JMM 4 was ferocious and mobile until the KO of course.

Martinez would beat the hell out of Pac. Pac can NOT fight his style of fighting vs Martinez darting in and out vs a bigger, stronger man with a LOT of speed (at 154 he was fast as f uck) not to mention his counter punching abilities and doing what has given Manny problems every time and thats moving. If you struggle with movement Martinez is the LAST guy you throw your fighter in against unless you have no choice. Pac doesnt hit hard enough to discourage Martinez either (partly due to size). I could see Pacquiao getting p willed as Manny has to initiate from further and gets hit with the same punch he did vs Marquez except from the left hand side after being led there all night with long powerful jabs and hooks and straights to the stomach. Martinez simple too much of everything... If they were both the same size now thats different but martinez is quite frankly too much of a total package in relation to the diff in length and power advantage... This fight isnt competitive... See Marquez vs Floyd... When the guy youre fighting is arguably more skilled than you AND is bigger/stronger? Yeah..no.

Would you pick Chavez Sr over Hagler? >__>...as good as sr was at the lower weights?
