I am a huge Bhop fan, especially during his reign as middleweight king and his 20 defences. I would like to ask according to the history books Carlos Monzon had 14 defences of his lineal middleweight title.
From looking at BHOP's record he won the lineal title against Trinidad. So does that mean Monzon still has the record of most defences? Because BHOP only defended his lineal title 6 times or does the 20 defences of the IBF title count?
If somebody could clear this up for me that would be brilliant.
