properly outclassing burns the whole fight, gave Gonzalez all rounds up until after the 7th round, there was a long exchange in the 7th that exhausted both fighters but ricky recovered and Gonzalez couldnt. i still think he could of moved and jabbed for the last 3 rounds and won the fight. i was shocked when i saw he wasnt coming out of his corner. burns is not even in the same league as this guy.

His trainer was so disgusted with him that the ref was actually propping them both up after he refused to start the round.

To be fair to Gonzalez he was completely taking the p!ss out of burns whilst ever he was throwing shots at him
          Then suddenly he stopped throwing
Maybe he was spent maybe not

I've fractures my wrist on various occasions. One of those I didn't know for sure until a week later whenmy coach told me to go check it out because I couldnt do a single press up in training
Another time it was that bad that I was about as close to passing out as can be and the hospital put me straight to the top of the list for an immediate operation

If Gonzalez hurt his wrist bad then yeah he gets my sympathy because no way could anyone fight like that against someone who is coming forward.
Big if though. Otherwise he puss!ed out.
          Lets see an X-ray eh?

I lost two bets because of this little pu*sy. lmao He's full of ****. He punched him self out or something and quite because of that. If his wrist was injured, he still could have fought with his other hand. He's a strait quitter and a liar.

I don't even believe his broken hand excuse, his trainer was practically crying in the corner. Even if his left hand was broke he could still continue but he was gassed out and had nothing left which would make him a sitting duck because it seems Burns was coming on strong.

Injured or not, the dude didn't want the belt bad enough.
We've seen fighters fight through worse and put it all on the line to win.

gonzales was class right till the 8th round, its easy for ppl to say he should have continued fighting because such and such did much harder to actualy do, maybe adrenalin did not kick in to allow that to happen

After the 7th his thin azz legs were gone.

Ricky was putting some heat on him and it was looking like he gasseed.

I'm not buying the hand injury.

after the 7th and 8th the cornermen were masarging his legs big time not a mention of a bust hand.

Lucky escape for burns he seems a top bloke
