Make Rigo/Vic in Miami and put Gamboa in the co-feature after he beats Darley Perez

Yeah, despite still fighting very well at the ancient age of 37 for a fly/bantamweight size fighter, his age has really been showing in his last three or four fights.
His last good fights were his great win over Yohnny Perez and the close SD loss against Mares, but since then his age has just caught up to him too much and the size of the guys he's fighting are just a little too big for him. A couple of years before and he would have beaten Shinsuke....close enough as it was and considering what Shinsuke has done since, it was an impressive fight for a 35 year old flyweight.
Anyway, the speed, size and precision of Rigo would be too much for Darchinyan at 37 and fighting at 122. He's too small and past it to compete and win against Rigo.
What a great career though. HOF worthy. The one thing he might have going for him is that he fights fellow southpaws incredibly well. He's at a distinct disadvantage in every other area though.Comment
