What i am pointing out is the hypocrisy of the posters on here criticising this when they were gumming Pac's knob for doing the same. Ditto to any Floyd fans who would defend a CW.

It's fine if Floyd says he doesn't want to fight at 54 anymore and will exclusively campaign at 47. It's not fine to say that, but at the same time say you want to fight Canelo.
What Manny did is very different than this. Again, Manny did it when he moved up from 130 to 147 from 2008 to 2009 and when he fought at 150 MAX for the first time in his career.

Manny also did it in favor of his opponent Marquez when he held the title at 147 yet came in at 143lbs for the fight.

Floyd has shown twice that he was OK with fighting at 154 PLUS his team has stated on many occasions that he would have no problems with fighting anyone at 154 PLUS on several interviews said he could even have done 160 if the price was right because at the end of the day "Its skills that pay the bills".

Now perhaps 160 is too high but how can 154 be too high if he fought there twice and has a title there and all we heard until now is "no problem at 154"?

and to ask for 147 and nothing higher after all that is not right for Floyd to do.

hilarious. in case you haven't noticed, a lot of the schooling in this thread hasn't been floyd haters schooling floyd.

it's been floyd haters schooling the flom.os for rationalizing how a 154lb champ and title holder has the right to weight drain another guy in the division

      lol

      • how many fighters fight at their walk around weight, then get criticized for wanting to fight in a weight class that suits them better

Canelo isn't fast as Floyd, he doesn't hit harder than Floyd, and he isn't in condition like Floyd. Canelo isn't a come forward guy. He is a boxer with good skills who goes to the body. None of that is good enough to beat Floyd. Canelo is right handed...which suits Floyd, and he tires late in fights at times.

To beat Floyd, you have to Duran him, and Canelo ain't Duran-and maybe he can't be Duran'd. Canelo will be strong early against Floyd, and in my opinion fade in the latter rounds.. Floyd will stay strong for the full 12 and beat Canelo up. Size won't matter. Canelo can come in at 180 if he wants.

Once Canelo feels Floyd's power, he will turn into a counter puncher like Guerrero and the rest of those guys Floyd beat...and act like they chased Floyd for 12. The only guy Floyd could not fight toe to toe who had a true size advantage over Floyd is Baldomir.

This thread has attracted a lot of **** heads in this thread. It's embarrassing that Floyd can bring out true anger in you clowns. Stay pissed while Floyd stays undefeated. Even you will appreciate him one day. And if you never do, go **** yourselves like you've been doing *******s!
Your a tool with no common sense. The only people pissed are Floyd fans bc he's not the apple of every boxing fans eye.

            YOU DONT KNOW BOXING.

RJJ relied almost completely on his athleticism, so once he lost a step, he fell off hard. He made a lot of mistakes that his athleticism overshadowed.

            It's more like Floyd > B-Hop > RJJ

Whatever you say butt-plug. Stay on the defensive just like Floyd Joy. At least those fighters don't have Cherry-picker attached to their legacy, among others

            • Mayweather and his fans BLASTED Pac for asking for a Catchweight and then Mayweather stoops LOWER than a Catchweight and demands a guy in the division he has fought in to come down to 147. BULLSHT!!! Mayweather: I DON'T DO CATCHWEIGHTS............OH BUT CANELO COMES DOWN TO 147 OR NO FIGHT! Mayweather fans attack Pac and excuse Mayweather for the SAME THING!

And Floyd went on record saying it was wrong and complains about it whenever he can...now he wants to do the same thing?

                Anyway, Canelo isn't making a jump, it's the opposite he's getting weight-drained.

Last I checked Mayweather said "I WANT A FIGHTER TO FIGHT AT THE WEIGHT HE IS COMFORTABLE WITH, I DON'T DO CATCHWEIGHTS, I AM NOT THAT TYPE OF GUY!!!" What does that mean to you?????????

you guys are acting like the fight is signed and its at a catchweight, all we have is one side of the story. until everything is signed no point of even talking about this anymore

                    • That's f***ed up if true, Floyd normally has no problem fighting 154 lbers. I'll wait until I hear it from the horse's mouth before jumping to conclusions.
