stop assuming. mayweather is not fighting khan in september. that is a fact.Comment

Don't think Floyd is fighting in September. Looks like we'll get Canelo vs Cotto and Marquez vs Bradley on Mexican Independence Day weekend '13.Comment

Guys, Floyd names people that he does't intend to fight.....we should all know this by now. He has mentioned Khan, Providnikov, and Canelo, it won't be any of those guys. Brook pulls out last minute allowing Alexander to fight a guy that he is going to blow away.
Floyd will get to fight a title holder coming off of a solid win. Canelo will fight Cotto (fight's already signed). DLH really doesn't want the Canelo-Floyd fight to happen in September anyways. He wants to make it look like they tried and Floyd turned them down so that Canelo can headline his own PPV and gain leverage by KOing Cotto; something Floyd couldn't do.
Khan needs another solid win where he doesn't get dropped and he wins by KO to make a Floyd fight even somewhat meaningful.Last edited by mathed; 05-11-2013, 08:02 PM.Comment
