  • Anybody else change their tune about Floyd?

I used to be the biggest Floyd hater. HUGE. But over the years I've grown to appreciate his skill. Can't say that I'm a fan, but at least neutral. For me, it went from "he's too scared to fight Pac" to "it's because of Bob Arum, if they were both under Golden Boy the fight would be made in 2 seconds" and "he's cherrypicking" to "well, he's fighting who's out there, who the hell else is he supposed to fight." Anybody else converted?

no one can deny his skills and natural ablities, but what is detestable is that he doesn't want to test it against the best in his generation during their primes. His cherrypicker ways make him detestable.

Used to be a fan of Floyd, then he ducked Pacquiao now I don't care for his cherry picking ass. I wouldn't mind ever seeing him fight again.

Floyd and Arum are not making business together, what's so hard to understand about that.

Maybe if I never joined this site, I'd still be a fan. His fans are borderline maniacs. You'd think he was Michael Jackson in his prime.

I went from giving Floyd the benefit of the doubt to calling him a cherry picker. It wasn't too hard to convert because Floyd has admitted to that on many occasions. His fans go deaf when they hear those type of comments made and keep on blaming the other fighters for not getting the fights made.

Believe it or not his downfall, in respect to opponent selection, has a lot to do with him trying to protect his precious "0". That is the only thing that can explain all this.

I want to like Floyd. When I see him fight and not talk, I'm kind of beginning to become a fan and then I hear him speak again and it all goes away.

I'll always respect him for what he has done in the ring though, obviously.

if they were both with golden boy it would be made in 2 seconds? yeah just like the canelo-floyd fight was made in 2 seconds...how was it arum's fault again? did arum make floyd change his demands from 50-50 to 100-0% of the ppv? floyd doesn't want to fight good fighters it's pretty simple. whether they are with golden boy(canelo), top rank(pac), dibella(martinez) etc...stop believing the fallacy of he won't work with top rank. he won't work with good fighters.

and when Floyd was with Arum, he even broke his contract to fight Baldomir instead of Margarito .....

When called out, Floyd didn't want to fight Mosley from late 2006 to mid-2010 when Floyd said this version of Mosley is OLD (and inactive).
