Floyd is not the best in the world. Best in defensive moves, timing, hugging and running. Has no power. Guerrero chased him most of the fight even though Floyd said he was gonna go toe to toe. Sure he caught Guerrero with some rights but not to many and walked through them.

Floyd is the best in the world period...the best of this era. Almost every boxer in the game acknowledges that...there's a reason. Name someone who's regarded higher by his peers than Floyd. That being said I'd like to see him fight Canelo, Canelo has a lot of flaws that could be exploited and easier to do them before he gets more work in. In a few years Canelo won't even make 154 anymore so Floyds going to have to fight him sooner than later if he's going to. I'd also be willing to see him vs the winner of the 140lb tourney, or even garcia or lucas/peterson for that matter... Canelo, Garcia, L/P would all be fine matchups for me. To be fair I think Garcia has the least chance of winning and it's easy work, but it'd be a hell of a promotion and it'd be an exciting fight.

Every boxer?? Nope. Martinez and many others have chased him and they know thya can beay him if he fights and does not hug. Many boxers say he is the best because they are after the money so if they say Floys id the best and they fight him, their marketability status skyrockests. It´s not about boxing anymore, it´s about making business-wise decisions. I agree he has great defense and athleticism but he is not exciting. Watch any match from the 70s, ( 15 rounds), 80s and 90s, those were fighters. Floys is a business man. I can train an athletically gifted wrestler and teach him basic boxing skills and if he fighs like Floyd, he wins!!! Just pot shot, hug, pot shot, run, potshot, hug. Comapre Floyd to Hagler and you will see what I mean.

Sure, for someone who likes coward boxers. For fans that want real fights it´s not. I´m sure you loved Whitaker too. Pot shot, run. pot shot, hug. pot shot, run. pot shot hug. See the pattern ??

Canelo is a hypejob, I am not impressed with a redhead who is 42-0-1 and is 22 years old. He has only fought one big name and a big name who was past his prime. Floyds fought like 7 or 8 big names.

Get off the "the hate Floyd" train! Ur just one of many that rather make up excuses and untrue allegations than to give floyd credit for his "17" YEAR impeccable boxing career. If Floyd fights canelo and beats him convincingly, you like many will find some other excuse such as " he ran all night, pot shot but no toe to toe, he hugged every round, or even goes as far as to say...." Floyd was suppose to win cause he has more EXPERIENCE! EXACTLY, respect the P4P KING @ 44-0 26k's one of the GREATEST of ALL TIME my dude!
