If Floyd wanted to it was there. Just like Marquez and Guerrero got Floyd because they challenged him then why not P. Williams and Martinez who have challenged him too?

By the way, Martinez said that he was even willing to go down further than 154 so 154 would NOT have been the issue that you say it was. Williams said he could fight even at 147.

The window of opportunity was there but Floyd shut that window as he was feeling mighty cold about it!
u keep on bringing up marquez and guerrero but what that has to do with sergio being at 160lber is beyond me. u seem to not get it, it is sergio who left 154lbs. it is sergio who has not retured. floyd didnt force him to do it, it ws his own choice. if he thought he could fight at that weight, he would. instead he hasnt been back and he has had chances. blaming floyd for not fighting a guy who fights at 160 is pure hatred. it wasnt until last summer thar floyd even decided to return to 154. he doesnt belong in the weight class, but he fights there for big fights. sergio doesnt belong in the weight class and he doesnt even try to fight there. u see the difference? i dont even know why i asked that because u definitely wont.

Martinez fought at 160 to make some money there BUT that doesn't mean he couldn't fight at 154. Why do I say that? ..... because Martinez called out Floyd and said so!!!

Why are you bringing up 160 when I'm talking about fighting at 154? If a fighter can fight at 154 like Floyd has and Martinez said he can then what is the problem?

Funny how you can understand Floyd fighting at 154 for big fights BUT don't say that about Martinez. Martinez said he would even go down to 150 to fight a big fight. So AGAIN, there is NO DIFFERENCE if both fighters say they can fight there if it's for a BIG FIGHT!

Floyd Sr, Uncle Roger and Floyd has said on many occasions that they can fight at 154 and when asked they even said 160. Why when questioned? "Because skills pays the bills not size!" This was just repeated by TEAM FLOYD in another thread.

And why am I bringing up Marquez and Guerrero? Similar stories but you Floyd fans were OK with that .... no questions there but when guys like Martinez are mentioned they bring up excuses like "Martinez shouldn't be allowed to come down to 154". Some have said the same with young inexperienced Canelo too .... if Canelo had more skills/experience and presented more of a risk for Floyd, I bet you anything ALL Floyd fans would use that excuse!

And to people saying he isn't ready...come on, the guy has over 40 fights...how many does he need 60?
Yes, you're right -- I also saw s smart and boxing savvy Canelo dominating that fight.
Although I see Floyd winning a 12 round fight, with Canelo having a good puncher's chance -- as he builds fast with his left hooks and uppercuts and throws stunning straight rights.
IMO Floyd should not take this fight right now.

Right now, Martinez is in a precarious physical condition, that's for sure... Under the circumstances he would definitely lose by KO to Alvarez even at 160...
On another hand, I can't see why Floyd would agree to fight a hard hitting and savvy defense Canelo, who (on top of it) walks 172 lbs in the fight night. I can't see Floyd taking such a fight, unless it's fixed.

Well Im not impressed with Floyd Mayweather!!!! Other than is athletic ability, timing, and defense. His offensse is nothing, boring. He is dirty, has a big mouth, cant KO a girlscout. The referees, judges and media see him winning due to his marketability. Canelo is a man. Floy is a b1tch.

All the real Floyd fans already knew this. Now the scared fanboys can stop making threads about Canelo being too big.
