    I'm a Canelo fan but.....

The reality of it is that outside of Trout he hasn't beaten anyone. Ryan Rhodes, Lovemore Ndou, Old Shane Mosley, undersized Josesito Lopez and Baldomir is not the resume he would need to deserve a fight with Mayweather. Plus, what makes anyone think that he is prepared for a fighter of Mayweather's class. I am a huge Canelo fan and I can't stand Mayweather, but I respect his obvious skill and if anyone thinks Canelo is in his league right now they are smoking crack.

Bro, the kid is 22, and just beat the #1 JMW. Give the fuggin kid a break already.

He beat the same guy a majority of boxing fans, including me, said would out box and embarrass him. He beat a style that a lot of people thought would be his kryptonite, and this is all you have to say?

    You ain't no damn fan.

I am a fan of both fighter. This fight has to happen. Canelo is a unified champion at 154 so him being too green is thrown out the window. He still holds certain advantages (weight and power) that will make the fight competitive and entertaining. He got his feet wet with Trout. Now it's time to dive in.

What majority had Trout winning? I got killed because I said Trout wasnt slick and he was only a "pretty good boxer." And I called him a little bit better version of PWill. Besides all Trout did was beat a shot Cotto. Thats what you guys all called Cotto right?

You are right on. This guy would get schooled by gayweather. No way canelo lands clean blows on him. Trout is like the poor man's Mayweather, and canelo could barely break his defense. Gayweather will make canelo look silly.

One thing here...I think Trout takes Canelo's punches far better than Mayweather does (which wasn't that well at all since he was hurt and dropped).

Edit: okay two things, Canelo landed power punches on Trout at almost twice the rate so he did break his defense pretty well
