Comments Thread For: Ricky Burns Wants Fans To Make Gonzale Feel The Heat

Ricky Burns wants his fans to give José González an early taste of the noise he’ll face on fight night when the pair weigh-in for the clash at the St. Enoch’s Centre in Glasgow at 1pm on Friday.

Burns defends his WBO lightweight title against the mandatory challenger from Puerto Rico live on Sky Sports HD1 from 8pm on Saturday night in Betfair’s ‘Fighting Pride of Scotland’ and the Coatbridge star has asked his fans to turn out in force as they hit the scales on Friday.

Too bad the fans can't get in the ring with Gonzales.

Burns has looked very nervous since the annoucement of this fight and his cmments makes me wonder if he is a bit worry about this fight.

Anyways, if Chelo does his thing he drops Burns ass!

He is certainly a vicious puncher. Unbeaten too.

Ohh Believe me I know, Ive seen him train in person, he is a beast! He is 10+ better than Rocky Martinez wich Burns struggled with! In that regard is what Im basing my self on.

Burns need to move a lot throw flurries, and not tire. If Chelo catches him, he gets dropped hard. The only thing worries me is that this is chelos first real fight(if you know what I mean). Burns is no, slouch!
