Khan sure does like talking trash about Brook yet he is clear he doesn't want to fight him. After getting rocked by career LW Diaz I can see why. I don't wanna give Amir too much of a hard time though because it was a bit frustrating seeing the Brook-Alexander fight fall apart. Khan and Brook are both exciting fighters to watch it would be must see TV if they fought. Brook has failed to cash in on title shots against Bradley and Alexander. He will be heavily scrutinized if he's in soft in his next fight. People are ready to see what he's made of. No more fights with the Hector Saldivia's of the world.

I think the Carson Jones fight was a great fight at the right time for Brook's progression. He grew up a lot in that fight. Bradley & Alexander are both very difficult champions to dethrone. Obviously Mayweather as well. So realistically at this point his best shot would be to position himself for a WBA title shot and have a showdown with Kieth Thurman. Winner of that fight would be a mandatory i'm sure. Welterweight is an extremely hard division to become champion at the moment except for weak link Malignaggi. That's why everyone is salivating over that WBA strap. As much hate as Devon gets, he will probably have a long championship reign unless he gets knocked off by Mayweather. Tim Bradley is in tough against Marquez but I also favor him to win and if he does he will beat anybody else in Top Ranks stable including Pacman in a rematch. The only welterweight strap I see changing hands in 2013 is the WBA belt. Alexander will also put Khan to sleep if they fight in December.
