That was before Chavez lost. Once fighters lose, interest drops. And now he would be fighting a bigger, better and to some less entertaining fighter in Ward compared to Martinez. Idk if this would be a good ppv.

Yeah I definitely felt he brought a more fan friendly style in the Dawson fight. I'm hoping this continues, but he has a long road back with the shoulder injury he had. Like to see him get back in the mix soon. I think a fight against GGG would be very interesting. Golovkin is a smarter fighter than people give him credit for plus he'll have the power to keep Ward honest. But knowing Ward, he'll smother GGG power with lots of holding. He'll probably win, but it will be an ugly win. I highly doubt he'll open up like he did in the Dawson fight, because he knows he could be in trouble. Make it happen HBO!

As great as he is, he has no ****e. Very little it factor. There are nice guys in sports that are also all time greats but he just comes off more as Tim Duncan than Derek Jeter. He needs a strong and loud antagonist if he really wants to sell ppv.

Either Golovkin or Chavez. Golovkin because of what he brings to the table and especially if he keeps winning. Chavez because he has a bigger following. With that said, Ward doesn't break a sweat in either fight.

I voted for Golovkin, but that was based more on the hardcore fan in me, as Golovkin's not only undefeated, but exciting to watch, and if he can knock off 2-3 more high profile opponents in exciting fashion

a fight between him and Ward should sell itself. Undefeated's going at it as always fun to watch. Though it probably won't get too mainstream.

Mayweather might not be the most exciting fighter, but his fights sell because of his technical mastery and I believe being undefeated is an additional selling point for Floyd.

Ward won the Super 6 and beat Dawson .. but all this time he's missing is really hurting his chances to capitalize on it and maybe become a Superstar. Then again Ward was never really a big draw, and the dude was an Olympic champ to boot.

Some boxers just aren't terribly popular and at 29, it looks like Andre Ward is going to have trouble becoming mainstream/getting on PPV.

**though Chavez Jr or Golivkin would be big fights for Ward
