Of course GB is "negotiating" for a fight but the question is Floyd even bothering? Mark my words Floyd would never fight Canelo.

If he ducked Pacquiao what more Canelo?

He is also ducking the Klitschko brothers. If Rios beats Pac, the haters on this board will claim he is ducking Rios.

Floyd vs Saul would be interesting. I'm hoping both will be very well prepared, and that there won't be anything like a hand issue. I am guessing Saul would test Floyd.
Ha.....you're nitpicking the use of then/than??? Really....and on the internet??? Got to love when losers nitpick stuff on the internet like that.

I agree he will NEVER fight Canelo, but not cuz he's scared. Simply because we all know some judging in boxing is suspect and the winner could be determined by a popularity contest. Floyd is scared to lose his 0. He won't take any fight where the judges could pick a popular fighter as the winner. He learned his lesson with the split decision in the De La Hoya fight. If it were to happen, which it won't, Floyd wins every round. Canelo is a B+ fighter atm. He gets hit too much.

I don't know what weight Floyd came into the ring Sat night but he couldn't have been more than 152
But it was cool for him to fight a LW JMM. He was two pounds over on the weigh in and 12 pouts over 147 on fight night. Didn't Floyd say "I don't fight at catch weight?" He sure did, right before the Cotto fight.

Mayweather didn`t make the weight with Marquez so technically it wasn`t a catchweight. And when Floyd said he don`t fight at catchweights he mean`t he don`t make fighters come down to a weight that drains them like Pacquiao does.

More like Pacquiao ducked Floyd in the first negotiations with the "i`m scared of needles excuses","i`m afraid of blood excuses","taking blood makes me weak excuses".Then waits 2 years to get the roids out his system to agree to testing then Floyd found out Pacquiao did not deserve 50/50 with him when he seen what Pacquiao got paid.

Stop drinking the cool-aid. Canelos last fights were Trout,J.Lopez, Mosley, Cintron, Gomez, Rhodes, and M.Hatton. All of those C level fighters have prepared Canelo to take on the PVP champ? C'mon guys, stop buying into this crap. Canelo is no doubt improving, but he should really fight the best in his division first, like I.Smith, Brundrage, Martirosyan, or Lara.

Granted they are C/B- fighters but they are still better than his last fights with the exception of Trout. A fight against Mart and Lara is credible. No way he beat Trout 117-111. The Shotime announcers had Canelo winning by one point, and I think one announcer had it a draw. I actually had Trout winning by a point. This goes to show he needs more fights. He can't even be considered the best at his weak division because he hasn't even fought the top fighters in his division. He was handed a belt placing him at the top and then demanding lucrative mega fights which he hasn't earned yet. That's the truth. I like the kid. He just needs to take tougher fights first and earn his dues. A fight against Floyd really shouldn't even be a discussion.
