I've been watching recent Mayweather interviews including the post fight one, and man he has matured alot. How can people still say they don't like his personality?He conducts himself with good manners during press conferences ..even humble sometimes. During the Ruben Guerrero blant, about him being a woman beater on live tv he kept his cool and acted like a professional...anyway I now have respect for the guy.

People just don't respond to his new personality. I think all they remember is his old personality. The one that drew them in. The one that HBOs 24/7 tried to exploit in the Cotto fight. People say there wasn't any promotion for this last fight with Guerrero, which is why it didn't sell, but I think Money's new character and lack of trash talk, arrogance, drama, etc. is what kept the fans from buying the fight in huge numbers. Floyd already got a $300 million contract, so he might not care about the PPV #s, but I would hope he would go back to his old act just to keep his haters, who are really just his fans, entertained. I have not met a hater, irl, who could honestly say they don't buy/watch his fights...
