The only ones complaining are some die hard Floyd fans that can't comprehend that Manny's first 2 options were top quality opponents who refused to fight him.

This fight will depend on which Manny shows up. Rios is going to come in bigger so that will be a stronger Rios coming in. Rios has looked like a skeleton at his weigh-ins at the lower weights.

The thing is that Manny has not KOed anyone at WW. If Rios can take Manny's punches well, this fight can be tough for Manny. It can be a tough fight for both and that will not be good for either one of them especially a Manny that was KOed in devastating fashion.

One thing about Rios is that he loves to be in a war. He will NOT back down. This fight has the potential to be FOTY candidate.

This is a great fight. It is dangerous for Pac, despite what some say. That KO was the most brutal since Sergio put Williams to sleep. Rios has good power and a good chin and is relentless. I see this as a potential FOTY contender. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the biggest Manny fan, but I hope he really puts a beating on Rios. Never liked that guy. He's fun to watch, but his personality rubs me the wrong way. Manny definitely can not take this fight lightly at all though. Rios is a crude brawler, but a dangerous one.

Rios destroyed Alvarado by KO on their first fight.Alvardo won a close decision on their second fight but he looked more of a beaten fighter with puffy face and bloodied/broken nose.Rios is the more dangerous for being a stronger and solid puncher with a granite chin and better stamina.Pacs has poor defence and fighting a hard and volume puncher in Rios is suicidal considering he just came off a brutal and devastating KO loss....He should instead choose a lesser and softer fighter to boost his confidence back and check if he can still fight at the top level...I think the nature of his KO loss took something out of Pacs and may not recover fully from this nightmare.Pac is a modern Gladiator like TROY who fear no one.....Pacs and Duran have the same mental fighting toughness...

Are people actually hyping this fight? Please Rios or Alvarado would both lose, in a big way. The only reason I dislike it more than Alvarado is he won the last fight and should get his just due. A PPV with a guy coming off a loss vs a guy coming off two.... come on.

If Alvarado is really hurt, which he seems to be since it came from his people before Arum said anything, than the Rios fight makes much more sense. There's literally no one else at 140 or 147 that Top Rank has Pac could fight.
