AMIR KHAN says he could be “just one fight away” from a megabucks clash with five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Khan was ringside in Las Vegas on Saturday to see WBC welterweight king Mayweather, 36, make a successful comeback from a year-long absence.
He convincingly outpointed fellow American Robert Guerrero and that has now set up a clash with former unified world light-welterweight champ Khan.
I revealed in Starsport last week that Khan wanted to fight Mayweather and is ready to move up to welterweight to achieve that goal.
