i think what is overlooked is that a k.o., like one jmm did on pac has a very big and lasting impression or let's say "recall factor" to fans than a "masterful boxing clinic"...

nobody booed or shouted boring when pac, vent on ending jmm - got to kiss the canvas from a bolt of thunder from nowhere....

i appreciate boxers with great skills, ali, srl, arguello and pbf....but one has to admit that fights with falling bodies, more blood generally were easy to recall...

It wasn't about the number of buys, it was about the number of people dissatisfied.

I mean, people were leaving the arena in the 12th round, FFS.

          It's freakin 7 isn't it?
I love Pac, but he didn't win jack at 140.
IBO isn't anything and the Ring title.... well if you want to count that crap as a legit title then go ahead...at least it's slightly harder to win than the other belts... at least at the time he won it.

Like I don't understand why they kept calling Guerrero a 4 division/6 time champion.
He unified interim belts at lightweight.. INTERIM! I didn't even know you
could do that. And then he won the interim WBC belt against Aydin... that meant Aydin was a "world champ"

Pacquiao is an all time great. Please respect this man for all that he has done for boxing.
How can any fan talk bad about him?

How many great fights has pacquiao gave the fans?

Duran got KO'd by Hearns ,Tyson by Holyfield, Holyfield by Bowe, Delahoya by Hopkins and pacquiao ,Roy Jones by Taver,W Klitschko by Sanders,Louis by Marciano ,Leonard got stopped by Norris,Ali got stopped by Holmes,Holmes got stopped by Tyson,Tyson by douglas,,Hearns by hagler,,Foreman by Ali,Frazier by Foreman, and on and on and on.

            Respect Pacquiao's greatness.
When it's all said and done........nobody in the history of the sport has won 8 world titles in 8 different weight classes.

            NOBODY.

Pacquiao lost the fourth fight against Marquez by Ko. THE FOURTH FIGHT.

I see why fighters duck and dodge.....because no matter what they do .....fans only remember the losses.

Well I remember the wins as well.
And last time I checked......Pacquiao beat Barrera,Morrales,Marquez,Delahoya,Hatton,Cotto,Clo ttey,Margarito,Mosley,Bradley which he should have got the W.

            ALL TIME GREAT

Whether you recognize Ring titles or not, Hatton was the clear cut lineal champ, no question. As for Ring rankings, they weren't half as bad when Collins ran the show, before all of them got forced out.

Manny "the hype job of the decade" was eventually going to get exposed sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.

Pacquiao has fallen off so bad off his hype that Rio beating Manny wouldn't really add that much on to his own legacy.

Go watch the fight and listen to the crowd when Floyd is Teeing of right before he hurt is hand , its all cheering .
