Rios style plays right into Pacquiaos, either a huge decisions for Pac or a stoppage for Pac. Don't see it coming off for Rios.

Maybe before the Marquez KO, but Rios should KO Pacquiao or stop him. I already gave up on having confidence in Manny's chin and aggression, he is a part time boxer.

Also Rios was struggling to make 140, fighting at 147 will give him better stamina and energy not having to cut down too far from 185 pounds anymore.

He once was able to contain his aggression like when he fought David Diaz and Oscar, but after he no longer feared fighting bigger men and felt he could handle their power he got over confident and careless and would just go toe to toe with them.

Rios has a much better chin than Manny and he has more power than Margarito.

Pacquiao will not be able to do anything here, his best bet is to hope that he can land some hard body shots to slow Rios down.

My only issue is that it's a fight that should be on WCB instead of an 80$ ppv. Plus it'll have a terrible undercards, like all Pacquiao fights are.

Sergio also fought in regular HBO and didn't get paid a bazillion dollars

the only good thing about this fight is there is a chance we may never see tomato can rios after pac mauls him in a very brutal way. either rios or alvarado woulda been suitable comeback fights for pac to get his confidence back with an easy win, but alvarado deserves a big money payday more than this absolute garbage joke in rios.

Other than that its a good come back fight. After this PAC has 2 left in him.
i didn't give sergio a pass, and i'm not giving pacquiao a pass.

Great posts. Some pac haters here seem to forget that fact that this could be a risky fight for his comeback. Dude just got KTFO by Marquez for crying out loud. Rios got some chin, and like you said, he has more power than Margarito. As sad as it is to admit, the playing field got a little even after Marquez KO'd Pac. Alot of Pacfans like myself would've felt that this is easy Pac fight, but that was when I always thought how good Pac's chin was and that was before Marquez knocked him down and then put him to sleep.

And about choosing Rios vs. Alvarado. It was a 1-1 fight, and Rios hurt Alvarado both fights. And don't forget that Alvarado was already hurt pretty bad the 2nd round on their last fight, so even I think that if a slow Rios can hurt Alvarado that quick, then what do you think Pac would do to Alvarado?

So haters need to chil out coz Pac vs Rios, whoever wins, WILL be an action-packed fight. I'm really curious to see how Pac's chin will hold up since I'm one of those guys that hopes he just retires before he gets hurt even more.
