Very tough for Alvarado given he was the winner and all but I still like the match up. It's unfortunate this will be on HBO PPV but I don't mind the fight. We'll get to learn just how much Pacquiao has left in him, and when Rios finally lands on Pacquiao we'll see how his chin is holding up. This will either be a Glenn Johnson vs Roy Jones Jr. type fight or Pacquaio will KO Rios in the mid rounds.

Its still a potential hard fight due to Pacquiao's style though...

Alvarado is the champion who will no doubt fight the winner of Rios and Pacquiao If that rumour is true.

It's not pointless moaning if the fight is on WCB...but since we all know that is not happening, as a fan of Pac and wanting to see him fight, I don't want to essentially be coerced into dropping 80 for a terrible mismatch.

Rios is a weaker, smaller, slower and overall just less talented version of Margarito, and we already saw Pac/Margarito. Lol.

And I don't think Alvarado is a more dangerous option, he just happens to have some actual boxing skill that can maybe make it interesting, so they're bypassing him. And after this exhibition, they'll be going for winner of JMM/Bradley. Hopefully afterwards, Pac just retires.

id like to see people justify this fight. Rios isnt even top 5 140, i understand pac is coming off a ko but this is a garbage fight, its less worthy of a ppv than ghost-floyd, especially since rios lost. he shoulda fought mike hes atleast top 5
