MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) retained his WBC welterweight title and his unbeaten record with a convincing points victory over Robert Guerrero. Floyd showed little sign of ring rust in his first bout for over a year as he weathered an early storm and dominated the laters rounds to earn a unanimous decision 117-111 on all three cards.

Great news. 5 more fights to go and then retire, Champ. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to witness one of the greatest boxers ever. Thank you, Floyd!

You do know Schaefer all but confirmed Khan-Alexander is happening in December right???

It should be Canelo or Peterson/Lucas. Those are my two preferred opponents. I still don't think Canelo happens this year, more likely next year.
