You're not a real boxing fan. Just let the victory soak in, sheesh.

At least give it a few weeks before you start demanding fantasy fights.
    OK. Whatever you say jack.

I'm a bit confused. What type guy do you want him to fight? How about your "top guys" come to welterweight and fight him? If the klitchkos called him out you'd say he was ducking them too!
Can you please plead pleeeease name for me one fighter Floyd cherrypicked? Guerro was his mandatory which means according to the WBC Floyd HAD to to fight him or be stripped of his title (when Floyd announced he no longer cared about titles people like you cried that he doesn't want to hold a belt because he would have MANDATORY challengers and wouldn't be able to "cherrypick") Floyd moved up in weight to fight a BIGGER Miguel Cotto that was a title holder AND winning. Floyd challenged Ortiz for his WBC welterweight title (Ortiz had literally dropped every opponent he faced atleast once in every fight he had) Ortiz was young and strong AND winning. Mayweather had been chasing Mosley since the early 2000s Mosley avoided Mayweather. (YouTube Mosley ducking Mayweather ) Mosley called Mayweather out and Mayweather accepted. Mosley had just dominated Margarito and was said to be "The best Mosley we've seen in years" Mayweather destroyed Marquez who happens to be Pacquiao's toughest challenge to date. Ricky Hatton was an undefeated Welterweight champion and Mayweather took him apart. Mayweather battled with Oscar De La Hoya (154 lb title holder at the time) another fighter he had been chasing since they both were signed to Top Rank. He secured that victory. So who exactly did he cherry pick?

His defensive, his speed, his intagilables, his boxing IQ, and ability to adapt is ATG top 5 IMO. I'm beginning to think he truly is an ATG.

I bet serious money on Guerrero but I have to admit Floyd is the best of his era.....without a doubt

Hmmm. He just fought the #3 rated guy in his division, weighing in a full pound less than the WW limit. He already beat the number 2 guy. Who are they top guys? Floyd is not a junior middleweight. it sucks that he is so good that people want him to fight guys who starve themselves to make 154/ 160lbs, when he himself walks around at 147 lbs (give or take).

The only way to prove you are the best is to fight guys at a 20lb weight disadvantage fight after fight.

Guerrero fight was kinda boring, but watching it with friends made it more entertaining. i did appreciate the boxing skills he put on, and it was a beautiful performance. But i already knew the outcome going in, so there was no anticipation for me. Either way, he is the best, and if he never goes to 154 again that is cool with me. He has been under 150lbs for over a month. He has earned his respect.

Very solid, clinical performance from Money tonight. It was a pleasure to watch. Shame about his hand, I felt he could have gotten the stoppage.

                    My favorite tactics:

-Being able to knock the right jab down and shoot his own over the top. Money has always been really good at shutting a southpaw jab down, and fighters often make the mistake of pawing with him. He will out-paw you, and spear the jab right over yours. Without that jab, Ghost seemed to have a very hard time getting anything else off. No lead left hands, few straight rights to the body, few right hooks downstairs. This was a very similar process to the SOG-Bad fight, in which Bad was very reluctant to throw anything without his lead hand behind it. It also allowed Money to measure the distance uninterrupted and set up the rest of his shots.

-Early on Money was timing the right where Ghost's head was going to be. Dipping your head towards your rear hand against an opposite-stance fighter is a liability, but you can get away with it if you dip low enough (as Money often did.) Ghost however would constantly move his head towards his left right into the right hand.

-Money made great use of circling to his right. With the right jab neutralized, the left wasn't really a threat, and he repeated that right hand lead + ducking out maneuver over and over again. He maintained range well enough that any lunging lefts Ghost did throw were out of range. In terms of footwork, Money often had his lead foot inside as he threw with Ghost's left and pushed off forward, but also was able to get his foot on the outside to neutralize the left by widening his stance and stepping forward as he threw. These are all tricks from the Ortiz fight.

-As soon as Money established the right hand upstairs and downstairs, I knew it was over. Ghost was unable to anticipate which one was coming, and took some real punishment from those shots. Sometime in the mid round, I remember the exact sequence, where Money landed a partially blocked right upstairs, landed it hard downstairs, then angled his body and looked straight at Ghost's body as if to land it again (I was like uh oh it's a trap) and surprised him with a hard right hand up top. He looped it around the guard several times as well. Veteran tactics Ghost was just not ready for.

-The few uppercuts Money did land were ace. I wish he threw more of them but he was able to use the right to catch Ghost as he was coming in, and shoot the left uppercut under Ghost's lead arm while coming forward.

-Money didn't waste time trying to fight Ghost's fight on the inside. All he had to do was clinch hard, shell up, and throw when the two separated. This is when the left hooks started coming out, once Ghost tried mauling desperately. Left hooks to the body, left hooks up top. We didn't see that many since Money made it a point to hang back in this fight, but he threw them at the right moments.
