BoxingScene.com recently caught up with WBA interim-super feather weight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa (22-0) who faces Darley Perez (28-0) on June 8th in Montreal as part of a HBO televised doubleheader that will be headlined by WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson facing Adonis Stevenson.
Gamboa has spent most of his career campaigning as a featherweight but moved up to 130 pounds in December when he defeated Michael Farenas on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez 4 undercard. The bout against Perez will be fought at the lightweight limit of 135-pounds.
