No, you're right. He has a habit of saying contradictory things quite often. He's got a quick tongue and his mind can't always keep up with it. I think he's often very clever but sometimes it falls flat or he runs out of wit and ends up repeating himself endlessly. I don't rag on him for it too much though because it's just the way he acts in front of cameras. I'm inclined to think he's a lot smarter than that when it's not an in-the-moment situation.

I think if Guerrero pressures Floyd enough, he can pull it off. Letting Floyd get his rhythm is why he wins. He is good at the give and take but when he takes over, he just gives. Guerrero needs to expect to get hit a lot and keep pushing forward and bust floyd up. It needs to be dirty. Otherwise we'll just be waiting for another fighter working for the mandatory for a payday.

Even if he gets smoked in the ring he will claim victory as he will say it gives him a bigger platform to preach about God and raise money for cancer treatments.
He is in a no lose situation. He could lose every second of everyround and no one will think differently of him.
The only implausible scenario would be him getting a victory.

That is so much easier said than done. Even warriors like Arturo Gatti found it hard to keep a fighting spirit after taking multiple accurate shots and not being able to land many of their own. It sounds great on paper though.

Compared to the last 3 weigh ins Floyd was a lot less animated with Guerrero. He hasn't got in guerreros head at all. His team weren't too loud either... maybe he's been getting tagged a lot more in sparring... Fat boy Nate Jones was quieter than usual .

I'd put it down to positive and negative reinforcement. If you and I were to say contradictory drivel in our day to day life, people would call us out on it and it would have an effect on our social status.

With Mayweather he has a bunch of people saying ''That's right baby team money'' even if he says something ******, so he has never really learned to think before he talks.

Pressure is on Guerrero. Fans will always have this picture of him manhandling Berto who made the Ghost look like a beast. Berto is one of the laziest boxers I've ever seen in the ring. The hypejob would rather clinch than move his feet.

Guerrero seems to be going into fight with a good mind set, he doesn't have the fear of losing. Big big mental advantage in my opinion.
