Canelo vs Mayweather

Is there any possibility of a bout between Canelo and Mayweather? I think that would be a great fight and that Canelo would give Mayweather a real run for his money, I even think that Canelo would win. Would like to see Mayweather taken down.

Mayweather might consider it simply because of the money—it would probably only be second to his fight with De La Hoya in terms of # of buys. Also unlike Pacquiao, Canelo would probably agree to somewhere in the neighborhood of 40%, perhaps even less. I say the fight happens—just not sure if it happens yet. He probably wants to see Canelo get challenged a few more times to see if he can work out a strategy to beat him and not take punishment. In 2014 though, I think it's going to happen.

After seeing how poor Canelo did against Trout, I see this fight being a big possibility, but lets see how Floyd looks tomorrow first. If he looks bad, he will stay away from Canelo.

Correction. Floyd groupies were saying he was easy work for Floyd, and that he was too green. Then they said he was too big after the Trout fight.
