So is Hopkins looking to close out against Cleverly?

Just watched this and said he's looking to a fellow superstar in the LHW division.... and I can't help but feel it's Cleverly.
Shumenov fights less than Mayweather and I doubt he wants to fight against Dawson again.
Can't be Ward because he said he'd never fight him and not in the same division.

    Thoughts?
    Probably Cleverly in Europe

I feel like it will end up being the Froch-Kessler winner at 175.

I don't think Cleverly is that good and I don't think he draws a lot of money (i.e Hopkins would beat him and not at the paycheck Hopkins would want)

I just think it's Cleverly because I've heard them throwing their names around recently

Cleverly would be easy work for Hopkins.

****, I'd love to see the winner of Froch-Kessler challenge move up and challenge him.

There arent many guys that can deal with Bhops skills, regardless of his age.

It's a good money fight for him if he goes to England and it will only elevate his status.
Not as much as a Froch/Kessler fight, but still pretty damn good for the ageless wonder

Hopkins will fight whoever brings the most money. Obviously Froch or Bute would be bigger money fights but if he can't land those than probably Nathan I guess.

I find this talk insulting in a way because Bernard would laugh at Clev if Bhop was prime/postprime in his thirties.

Putting aside that irrational feeling, Hopkins can school someone as basic as Clev, even at 50, but it all depends on him staying in shape, not as easy thing to do at his age. Trouble is, he is just as likely to really let it go and age fast now, so that Clev might be able to work so hard (whilst getting thoroughly outboxed when Hopkins isn't gassed, a la Calzaghe fight) that Nath might sc**** a split decision.

any very very fit, semi decent fighter has a chance against a legendary 50 year old, simply by outworking them.

maybe, maybe not... depends on the money sitch i would say.

i think bhop is gonna try and fight the froch-kessler winner, at 175, or maybe some sort of catchweight even. that would be awesome, either fight would be great in my book.

cleverly is not that good though, so he would be my last pick
