Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr: Danny Garcia Can't Even Whoop Me

Never one to shy away from the spotlight, outspoken trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr. has received his share of attention in recent weeks due to his involvement in his son Floyd’s recent training camp ahead of his May 4th date with Robert Guerrero.

Putting in time at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, Floyd Sr. has served as somewhat of a mentor for this particular clash, offering up insight and advice on select occasions as 'Lil Floyd' trains ardently for the 44th professional bout of his career.

Mayweather vs. Guerrero takes place on Saturday night from the MGM Grand and one of the big subplots heading into the event is that fact that Mayweather will be fighting on Showtime pay per view for the first time.

Damn, they got Danny on the mind

Maybe Mayweather will come venture to NYC at Barclays. That's the only way I'll support this fight, because Barclays is awesome and I'd like to see Mayweather live before he retires

Honestly, Floyd's slowing down. That Cotto fight was tough and in most people's opinion, he was gonna beat the dog piss outta Cotto. And that didn't happen. Garcia's style is far from pretty but it works.

Lets be honest floyd is on a different level than Danny. U don't have to like floyd to see that. U jus have to have eyes.

My boy told me something about Oscar and Haymon having a deal with the MGM that promises Floyd will only fight there.

I agree with Sr. Hmmm he should tell Fraud to fight Canelo or Paman NEXT!!! Those are the two biggest money fights ppl will pay for. Sergio is injured so it should be Manny and Canelo for his next two fights. Don't go down and fight a 140lb like Hatton or a LW like he did JMM. PLEASE give the Fans the fights they want to see. SRL, Duran, Hagler and Hearns got paid MILLIONS in the 80's to fight each other and they did. All threats to each other. The BEST fighting the BEST!!!! So quit with the MP got KO'd or lost two straight(one was bs). Canelo and Manny should be NEXT!!!
