He's a guy that promotes fighters like his concert acts. Build up the hype to get people in the door. Doesn't matter if the final product doesn't live up to the build up as people won't remember once its over.
Got to hand it to him, he is a brilliant businessman and knows how to promote guys.
The downside is that it causes his fighters to take less chances and get matchups that are tailored made for them vs. matchups that would be great for the sport.
