I think Berto could come back and beat both those guys if he got the shot. He would have a tougher time with Ortiz, but we all know if you can just get him to question himself once during the fight he'll cower.

As for Guerrero I think Berto started to figure him out in the 2nd half of the fight, it was too late by then because both eyes were closed and he had been knocked down.

The nerve of this bum lol.. Wasnt he just talking about retiring and becoming a MMA fighter. Thats when you know your career is at the crossroads..
Dudes 30 and all the sudden trying to fight like mayweather. He did himself a disservice by not getting a real trainer after that gift decision vs Collazo.. Now its too late. Virgil Hunter cant fix his old ass.. Better late than never to i guess

Floyd Mayweather should have never been his first big fight anyways, it should have been against Manny Pacquiao...

When FMJ was retired, ducking, whatever u wanna call it, Manny Pacquiao was the man running boxing..Number 1 P4P and Number 1 WW.
I still remember Dan Rafeal and ESPN wondering who it would be out of Shane Mosley "who was supershot at the time" or the Undefeated WBO WW Champ Andre Berto...and Mosley was choosen.

Yes Berto was a overhyped bum, but Pac should have got in there and took him out, instead he beat Mosley in which he got no points for.

Berto has never been stopped - hurt, yes. Stopped? No. He took some monstrous shots against Ortiz.

Berto has many flaws but he has given us some very entertaining fights. I don't recall any boring fights he has been in.

I post seldom on here but read a lot of the articles and comments. I think it is really funny how folks come on forums to bad talk fighters. These guys risk it all and use this sport as a career. If you're a fan of boxing "yes" you would be opinionated but you would know to leave your "personal" feelings towards folks that you don't know out of it. I bet if those who talk so bad any fighter ever met them they would "act" as fans. I've seen it happen plenty of times. Give us something worth reading and commenting on. That's all... Carry on with your bashing.

                    berta...

this guys is a joke.. but now that mayweather has that deal.. he's looking for credible easy fights.. so if berta gets a couple wins.. he's definitely in for a mayweahter shot..
