haymon is trying to tie up the B side of potential mayweather fights.

whoever fights floyd from the slew of solid fighters at 140, haymon will probably have them under contract.

maybe the fighter most oft wang ridden on the site will start catching some heat now that he's working for the most powerful man in the sport.

Nah Mayweather supporters will start riding him too. That's what they do, they support anything and anyone that has ANY type of connection to Mayweather.

what else would he be doing with haymon? you sign on with haymon to have him guide your career and maximize your earning potential.

lucas mathysse is no different from any other fighter. they box for the money. mathysse was seen as a "take on all comers" fighter because he had no other options. in reality, like any other boxer, if there are easy fights to take for the same money he'd take them.

you used to do it [sign with haymon,] for consistent HBO dates. now it's more like showtime dates.

if you're matthysse you're pumped about this development, and you'll do what you're told.

"Mr Matthysse if you don't fight Garcia I'll get you a $1k increase from your last fight."

"Mr Haymon umm... go **** yourself. Kthnx."

Haymon fighters don't fight. No Matthysse-Garcia.

Come on, you know you're ALL thinking that.

they do / can fight. haymon will do whatever he deems necessary for maximizing the earning potential of his fighters.

haymon wanted berto to fight mayweather for years. he just kept losing the "eliminators."

Too many of these myths going around. Like Haymon doesn't deal with Top Rank but we saw Ramos fight Rigo.

I know, but I remember seeing that all the time around here. Especially when Paul Williams was calling out Mayweather a few years ago.
