Purdys got a punchers chance against Devon? Similar to Brook having a punchers chance against Khan, cos im sure Khan will use Brooks face as target practice just like Garcias until he punched khan in the neck.

I'm tired of hearing from Brook and he hasn't even step foot on US soil yet. Brook is a decent fighter, but pulling out of a fight that was already postponed twice just for a foot fracture is questionable to me. A foot "fracture" is not a broken ankle, we have seen a 40+ Farve play QB in the NFL with worse injuries. I think Brook should have went through with the fight regardless of the injury, his conditioning may not have been top notch but his fracture would have most likely been 75-80% healed, like he said he's already feeling better and who knows If Brook was that skilled he could of still had a shot at dethroning Alexander..

Why would they work themselves into a mandatory position only to pull out because they didn't want the fight...?

I personally think they believe Brook isnt ready, they can stay in the UK and milk the large Sheffield crowds and eventually they will throw him in the ring with someone who can fight

I remember before there was even talk of fighting Devon, Kell and Eddie Hern didn't really seem that interested unless the fight was to be held in Sheffield. I had to chuckle, here was Hern making demands Devon come to the UK and fight because Kell is a "bigger draw".........really?

So I was not shocked they pulled out, they were already hesitant about the fight to start with

Im not a big fan of either... But all i will say is at least khan goes through with his fights. Its a open secret in sheffield that kell brook wasnt looking fit or sharp in training and thats why they pulled out the 2nd time. He also turned down mike jones twice when he was with fwank.. Big talk but no big wins is kell brook.

Brook would KO Khan early, but the fact is, he simply doesn't warrant the fight, nor the payday. Maidana, Alexander, Matthysse, Garcia, and Judah all deserve a payday before Brook does.

Despite peoples hatred of Khan, he has fought Kotelnik, Mallignaggi, Maidana, Judah, Peterson, and Garcia in his last 8 fights. Those are all top 10 fighters, and if we're being truthful, only Garcia beat Khan in that run which is nothing to be ashamed of.

My advice to Brook would be to fight someone in the top 10 of his division before he targets career light-welterweights for a payday.
