Did anyone notive García was not sporting the PR flag on his trunks?

I noticed this when I rewatched the fight the other night. He had a small, yet visible, Puerto Rico flag on his trunks for both fights against Morales and his fight with Khan. Personally, I don't care much about it but it made me wonder why he did not have it this time.

I have read about some professional boxers having accounts and posting on internet forums and, not too long ago, there was a debate about whether or not García should be considered PR or not. It may be a longshot but perhaps he read or heard something that bothered him so he decided to stop having the flag there.

This is not to stir up stuff since, like I said, I don't care about it but I was curious considering the aforementioned recent debate.

I didn't know you had to wear your races flag lol. I thought He was born in philly? or he grew up he said. He's probably just trying to make more fans or something.
    Nothing wrong with that

It's not about having to wear it. I noticed that he was regularly wearing it and did not this time. It made me wonder if someone told him about fans perspective on his nationality status. I think it was nice when he wore it but I don't care much about it.

I was extremely saddened when Shane Mosley stopped wearing the Korean flag.

Personally, I felt Shane turned his back on his people. Smh

I see some replies that show that, apparently, the title was read but not the actual post. I just wanted to see if anyone saw the possibility of an internet forum debate/argument influencing a fighter's decision regarding something, however trivial that may be.

He's the new Oscar Delahoya. Most PR's probably see him as americanized, and not a true PR fighter like Tito or Cotto, since he's not from the islands.

I see you get the meaning of the thread and I think that is the general sentiment. I am okay with him and consider myself somewhat of a fan but I am curious about this. I know Malignaggi lives and dies for twitter but I don't know how much a guy like García reads or listens to fans or detractors.
