      Fought McCallum three times.

And I strongly agree with the second statement.

I know they fought 3 times but he won twice, U was just showing his wins, JT is really underrated with these casuals

I've been watching his fights and I feel as if Toney had some health issue. I mean if he really does just spar and go to the gym.. he just can't lose weight? Does he have an eating problem?

He gained lotta weight you can tell on his face from just the Jones to Griffin fight, I know he fought at 175, but he just looks chubby and awkward. Pre-fight interview Toney states "I'm goin back to my old ways." Real arrogant. ha

He resume and accomplishments suggest he is. Failing drug tests and periods of lack of motivation during he career hurt tho. I think he accomplished more than any reigning champion today, but some are close and are not through yet.

Toney is a legend. One of the best counterpunchers ever, a joy to watch. Hell yes!

No way he is an ATG, but he could and should have been. There are many fighters who will go down as greats who never had his talent, but made the maximum of what they had unlike Toney who never got close to what he should have been.

His "got close to what he should have been" is still 80% better than the majority of the current champions.

What he is now can never erase what he has done in the past.

Only newcomers or ignorant boxing fans think that.
