Italian promoters OPI 2000 were the only bidders at the purse bids held today in Rome for EBU super featherweight champion Devis Boschiero´s defense against Vitali Tajbert.
OPI 2000 bid 33.717.00 Euro for the right to stage the fight with date and site to be announced.
Tajbert, 23-2, is lined up to fight in St Petersburg May 15 but may not be able to go through with that fight now. Tajbert, based in Stuttgart turned pro with Universum in 05, held the WBC title 09-10 but lost to Takahiro Ao.
