How about they settle it in the ring? It would be a great match-up for boxing fans in a (for the most part) noncompetitive, boring weight division. Could fill a bunch of arena seats in the USA or UK, plus television revenue. Winner would definitely be in line for a title shot.

Yes, this guy doesn't possess the sense of ridicule...
Needless to say that Wilder's last "show" was not from the world of boxing -- MMA maybe...

Both of them would land a lot and miss a lot, but Wilder has shown one punch KO power and Fury is more of an accumulation guy. For that reason I think Wilder gets the win. It definitely doesn't go the distance.

Fury could not beat Harrison. If his team thought he could, they would have fought Harrison instead of Cunningham (a career cruiserweight) in his last fight. Wilder would ko Fury within five rounds and Wilder is not very good.

I got wilder on this one, even with his crazy out of control punching. Fury can't take Wilder's punches that's for sure.

Sorry to break it to Wilder fans, but Fury beats him easily. He'll make Wilder look wild and inexperienced.

Fury has fought much better opponents in his short career than Deontay "Bum KO specialist" Wilder. That's why he gets put on his ass from time to time - because, y'know, he actually challenges himself.

That's pathetic logic. Fraudley is an easy win for any big heavyweight, but he wouldn't open doors. Beating Cunningham was a far bigger deal, especially state side.

Fury took on an undefeated Chisora (and you can't blame Fury for Chisora turning up like a big pie). He took on and dominated Rich Power, who at the time was held up as some big prospect. He's beaten 4 undefeated fighters, all of whom were prospects.

Deontay Wilder's only "battle of the 0s" was against a 37 year old who hadn't had a competitive fight. Wilder fights bums. Harrison was another bum. If he gets the fight with Fury - and I pray he does - it'll be the 1st time he's in with somebody who can punch back with any power. Not only that, Fury is bigger, longer, and versatile, and won't be as gung ho as he was against Cunningham.

Wilder has power, that's undisputable, but he's not faced any opponent of calibre yet. Expecting him to dominate a fight where he doesn't have all the physical advantages is naive. He's still unproven.

Did you just use Rich Power in your argument?
