It is funny, there cannot be a single post relating to Paulie without some clown going "no power Paulie! Feather fisted Paulie!". Christ man we get it. This gets repeated over and over again. I think we all realize (including Paulie himself) that he doesn't have power...we don't need know nothing posters to continually blurt it out instead of discussing the actual content of the post lol. Jesus man. Also having no power has zero to do with toughness, heart, will, stamina or a chin. Some of toughest hardest punching boxers out there had some of the most fragile glass chins around. Ironic part is Paulie has a better chin than Khan, Hatton and Cotto lol and they all beat him, what a twist huh? So which one would be better then huh? To have no power and an iron chin? Or thunderous KO power and a chin like an 8 year old girl? You decide.

That being said, I think Broner will probably pull this out, but I would not be shocked if Paulie does well. Problem is (no pun intended of course) is that Paulie will get the shaft no matter what because Broner is the up and coming star. Also it makes me laugh that Paulie is always the one called out at WW, because he has no power. That is why I will laugh my ass off if he beats Broner. However, I do think Broner has legit power and skill so it may be tough for Paulie regardless of the size advantage. If Broner cannot hurt or stop Paulie though he is in trouble because Paulie is an amazing boxer skillwise.

I would just like to mention, Paulie has no power. I'm just saying.

Paulie=bum. Broner needs 2 step up comp. When guerrero moved up 2 weight classes he fought a tough fighter. Paulie is a bum period. Easy ko.

I'd be more concerned about winning on the scorecards. Al Haymon robjob might be in the works.

The blueprint to beating guys like A.B. (flat footed, needs stationary target, etc.) was layed out by Miguel Cotto in the rematch against Margarito. Seriously, if Paulie could keep it moving for the whole 12 rounds, keep his jab pumping the entire time and throw 2-3 punch combos and get out, he could outbox Broner fairly easily IMO. Look how Broner was against Rees. A.B. had EVERY advantage, yet Rees was tagging Broner up pretty good (even though he had to throw himself in there just to reach his chin, frkn midget), making him huff and puff, and making him look like he took a wrong turn down a back alley and got lost. But then Rees did what the rest of Broners opponents always end up doing, standing right in front of him, leaning in and asking for the 3 piece uppercut meal For guys like Broner, they need their opponents to stand still in front of them to make themselves look good (DeMarco giftwrapped with a bow on top). The problem is (and was with Rees) that when a fighter lacks power and everyone knows it, he gets no respect even when he does good work. Sadly for perceived "feather fisted" fighters, the judges and the fans don't even give credit for the punches that they DO land (and Paulie WILL land punches on Broner) so Paulie has little chance of winning this fight even if he boxes Broners ears off. I just hope that Paulie is able to somehow replicate what Cotto did in the rematch with Margarito, so even if (or when) the judges give it to Broner anyway, that it will be a great enough of a performance that the real fans will know who the true winner is. Truly, Paulie has just about EVERYTHNG working against him in this fight, but I hope like hell he doesn't go bravado and make the same mistake Broners other opponents have done by standing and trying to look tough by trading inside. Paulie could land quadruple the # of punches that Broner does (in theory) and he still would not be given a smidge of credit because of his K.O. %. I can hear it now... "Paulie landed 183 punches to Adriens 24 but I gave it to Adrien because his punches were harder." Gotta love the hypocrisys of judging in boxing.

Broner will walk Paulie down and knock him out around the 8 round. Paulie just doesnt have the power to make Broner respect him in the ring.

Lol at comparing Broner to margarito. Such an accurate comparison

Neither fighter's D is as good as they think it is. Paulie is going to get stopped late I think.

Which is precisely why Paulie's only chance is to keep it moving all night long.... make Broner work for it. He's gotta do to Broner what Sergio did to J.C.C. jr. and hit and keep it moving. Also, Adrien seems to miss wildly (a LOT) against an opponent who has good upper body/head movement. Paulie's gonna have to try and make Broner pay when he misses (again, even though he seems to get little credit for punches when they DO land), and he's gotta make Broner look silly by out boxing him ala FMJ vs Baldomir. Paulie better have his stamina in tip top shape.

Please show me where I said Broner was like Margarito?? My refference of Cotto/Margarito was how a boxer can beat a brawler by hitting and moving and not staying stationary against a heavy hitter. But go ahead whicha bad self and your reading comprehensions.
