Floyd's PPV failing would be the best thing for boxing right now!

A fight with Golovkin would pique my interest. Now I have a simple question for you, why does it matter who I'd be happy to see Floyd fight?

Ppv fights pay for themselves and they have investors usually found by managers/promotional companies. Even if the fight doesn't sell crazy, it will make money. Why do u think fights like Jones/Hopkins were on ppv? Because that's the cheapest way to deal with them
they guaranteed floyd $30 mil dude. the profit from the first 1 mil ppvs sold has likely been spent already. its gonna be tough IMO.

Wrong. It is showtime that gave him a 6 fight deal and Is paying him.

I think u misunderstood. ShowTime paid Floyd for an exclusivity contract, but that has nothing to do with this individual fight. Its the same as saying a basketball players' salary correlates to one particular game or series of games. It doesn't. So yea he was given a deal potentially worth $30mil a fight but that has nothing to do with one particular fight.

Please explain why Manny had rehydration clauses and catchweights against several fighters. Last time I checked these weight stipulations or as u say special rules are acceptable for Manny and people on here say if the opponent accepted it, its his fault. If Mayweather would ask this of Canelo u would call Mayweather a ***** and king of draining his opponent. Canelo wasnt at his best, blah, blah, blah. Double standard?

Respectfully, you are wrong my dude. floyd is guaranteed $30 mil for this fight, before one ppv is sold. He has an out clause after this fight that should he exercise it makes this a 1 fight deal with showtime.

If floyd/guerrero sells 200k ppv's floyd gets his $30 mil and showtime/cbs loses CRAZY money. If the fight sell 1 mil they may break even. If the fight does the usual 1.25 mil-a stretch given the lack of promotion/marketing that floyd usually does for his fights-then they will make money on this fight.

I did. Your still wrong. It is showtime that is paying Floyd and guaranteeing him his money. NOT Gbp.
