Looking at Canelo's resume and recent fights I don't understand how people can honestly reach the conclusion that he is a severe threat to Mayweather.
Aside from a pac fight it's the biggest fight that can be made in the sport right now. I find it funny at how when critics were slamming Floyd for choosing Guerrero as an opponent, Floyd fans defended it by saying that they were fine with it since Floyd will most likely be facing canelo in Sept so long as he wins against trout. Now that canelo beat trout and has made it clear that he wants Floyd in Sept, all of a sudden the Floyd brigade is singing a different tune.

Once again I just want to see the best and biggest fights possible. How/why is this a bad thing? How does this make me a hater?

I don't give a shit what you find funny. I don't like the Guerrero fight and I don't really care for his fight with Canelo. By beating Trout he achieved the bare minimum to make the fight legitimate. The fight being legitimate doesn't equate to Canelo having favourable chances or being a major threat to Floyd the same way Ortiz beating up Berto didn't make the former a threat to Mayweather.

If Floyd fights Canelo I'm not exactly going to cry about it, I'll actually be happy to see another hype job bite the dust. As I said before I just find it surprising that Canelo's fans ( or people that dislike Floyd) are placing their hopes on this kid when he has done nothing to look frightening. I feel as though in their heart of hearts they know he will get picked to pieces from rounds 6-12 and that they're spouting a lot of shit now because the fight hasn't been signed.

Why does Canelo get credit for fighting Austin Trout anyways?????
Isn't he suppose to fight other TOP 154 fighters???

          Not flyweights..not bloated 140 and 147 fights

Lol at 'mandatory'. After several embarrasing ducks, 3 failed ped test, 17 years and 43 fights....Floyd and his fans have decided to start caring about 'mandatory' challengers. You couldnt make this stuff up!
