I know I know.. that fight is old news etc.. But it is a telling fight. Mayweather fans will pull out the same justification for the cheap shot but that doesn't change the reasoning behind it. Whether it was justified or not is irrelevent. The real reason Mayweather got Ortiz with the cheap shot was because he feared Ortiz. Ortiz was landing and walking through Mayweathers punches.. Mayweather was looking a bit bemused by this and was beginning to worry. He seized his chance when that dopey senile ref wasn't watching.
