  • Comments Thread For: Stiverne on Chris Arreola Win: This Was Personal To Me!

It was there for Chris Arreola. A victory over Bermane Stiverne on Saturday night at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario would erase any previous demons about his losses and volt him to a possible world title opportunity against Vitali Klitschko.

However, someone forgot to give that memo to Stiverne, who came into Arreola’s backyard to not only win, but dominated the action.

Stiverne stuck to his game-plan and won a hard-fought 12 round unanimous decision over Arreola. Stiverne won the opportunity to possibly face Klitschko for the WBC title.

Although Arreola was the favorite coming into the fight and was fighting near his hometown of Riverside, that did little to throw Stiverne off his game plan.

This was a very good win for Stiverne. Stiverne's boxing ability was unknown and underrated for this fight to many.

Stiverne was much better than many "experts" gave him credit for.

Because he didn't have a great night on HBO vs Ray Austin, he was written off.

Vitali vs Stiverne would be a fight worth seeing. A real fight.

Masterful performance against Arreola by Stiverne, it was a great display of boxing and sticking to a game plan.

I'd love to see the Vitali fight BUT Stiverne will need to come in supreme shape against Vitali to give himself the best shot at winning the title. If he comes in the same shape as he did against Arreola then I can't see him troubling Vitali too much because he won't have the hand/foot speed to land consistently.

                    Stiverne Klitschko Make It Happen

I'm not going to lie after that Stiverne Arreola fight I want to see him against a Klitschko lol. This would be a real heavyweight bout that the Klits will have to work for not another easy payday. That right hand in the 3rd round that broke Arreola's nose was on some true Fight Night Champions **** lol. Arreola just can't stay away from the tacos to stay in shape though he has a good chin. Stiverne deserves a payday in a title shot.

Michael Buffer is worth 120mil never laced up a glove lol smh.
