But I think people are discrediting the business savvy of some of these guys when you rush to call them cowards or "duckers".
He turned down a title shot against Golovkin before he got a belt. Keep making excuses for him.

Promoters/managers should be the ones thinking this way, not the fighters.

I highly doubt any boxer is afraid of somebody else they are more business minded today which is smart looking at all the great of the past finicial situations.
Golovkin is a great business move money wise. But he has way more risk than either of the opponents either of have faced so far. Risk wise, it's bad for both of them because the risk matches the reward instead of high reward, low risk

Hahahaha, Quillan is going to be Mr.Irrelevant in the MW division for the rest of his career.

Watch GBP nut huggers and casual boxing fans who only watch showtime declare Quillan the best at 160 and a P4P fighter for cherry picking guys like Fernando Guerrero throughout his career. Lol.

They're not going to stand up to them. Why do you think HBO dropped GBP? This is what they do.

Pretty embarrassing interview from Quillin. At one moment he's talking about how nobody can beat him, and the next he's saying Golovkin is too much of a risk. Martinez needs to beat an 'American star' like him

People calling him a coward but he actually says what many of people's "fav" fighters just do in sneaky ways and dont admit because in the end they dont even take the risks at all, i like honesty even if it makes em sound like a pussy for once it's refreshing, make it worth hes while and hes gonna take the risk and if hes defense dont improve he probably gonna need new new teeth again.

This was never gonna happen anyway. I'm pretty sure GGG has a contract with HBO and we know Quillin is on Showtime.

I wonder how long it is though. I don't think GGG will be disloyal and jump ship after his 5 fight year is done, but I wouldn't mind him doing that one fight before resigning as Chocolate is the only belt holder with showtime

The armchair/diehard boxing fan on forums nowadays are worse than the casual fan. You just won't ever understand the heart of a fighter. You wish you were one. If you were one, you'd be laughing at yourself, and armchairs opinion of boxers.
