I have to agree with you on this. The venue/weather had an effect on the broadcast quality. Argentina may have also not had the most up to date equipment in terms of producing a 100% HD quality show.

I personaly think HBO is nr 1 and has dominated so far.Showtime had a good weekend but let's not forget the crazzy fights HBO had so far this year.

DFW didn't choose showtime because he hates.By that logic he hates showtime wich he made cleared when they worked on Strikeforce.

The question isn't Showtime vs HBO, it's what fighters they offer us. HBO has been king for a long time because they were more dedicated to boxing than any other cable network, now that has changed.

Fans don't care if it's Showtime, HBO, Starz, Encore...whatever. What they want to see is the best fights, with the best fighters. So if the move by GB to Showtime ends up showing us better fights, then Showtime will be king very soon.

Are you high? The UFC is on freaking FOX, why on earth would they be butt hurt? FOX freaking LOVES the UFC and the UFC apparently also loves FOX and they were so successful they're launching a new sports channel which will also have UFC programming along with the others. They have been breaking record after record and things seem to be only starting for them. I'm happy for them, why can't you?

I think Showtime is the number one boxing network now and it showed last weekend. That they are no longer in second place anymore to HBO.
