Lennox On Twitter Says Wilder Needs To Learn How To Punch

    Lennox Lewis ‏@LennoxLewis 27 Apr
Just saw Wilder KO... He's young and strong.. But still needs work straightening out his punches. Thought Audley might test him.

@dacork against a great boxer he would be undone with those type of punches.

    Lennox Lewis ‏@LennoxLewis 27 Apr
@dacork ha! Hitting hard isn't going to help much when u run into a fighter u can't hit or who hits hard back.

    Lennox Lewis ‏@LennoxLewis 27 Apr
I like Wilder but he's got a LOT of technical work and improvements to do before he's ready for the best.

    Lennox Lewis ‏@LennoxLewis 27 Apr
I've only seen a few of Wilder fights and the level of competition needs to be stepped up... 28-0 means little at level he's fighting at

Also he said he is working with Price, not sure what that means

    Lennox Lewis ‏@LennoxLewis 26 Apr
Looking forward to working with @DavidPrice_1on his road to redemption! http://bit.ly/14keG1E

Wilder is right there for the taking, horrible technique, he isn't learning anything by fighting these bums

His power wont save him, it's only a matter of time until he ends up like Price

Man, STFU Lewis. He hurt him, got excited. That's it. It will be fixed before his next fight to stay calm when he hurts someone. Why is that being so blown out of proportion? Everyone wants Wilder to fail or some reason, and will look for anything to say negatively about him.

Wilder punches like someone that has never been in the ring. Wild swinging punches take twice as long to reach the target and are easily counted.

Yeah the Wild Swings once he hurts his opponents, looks AWFUL, looks like someone that only been boxing for a few months

Stiverne would beat Wilder and box circles around him...probably knocks him out

Highlighting what he needs to improve on is a good thing at this point in his career. If an ATG says you need to work on something, then you need to work on it.

Lewis is just being honest. His technique is horrible. How will it be fixed before his next fight when he has been throwing punches like that his whole career? Just go and watch some of his earlier fights.

Someone on twitter said Wilder reminds him of Michael Grant and Lennox agreed

I also thought this yesterday, Wilder reminds me of Michael Grant, he use to throw similar style of punches and Lewis just threw a uppercut right through the middle and took Grants chin off
