Sorry if this is taking up precious space where other amazing threads would be made... but just wanted to say what another amazing job Steve did last night.

Truely the p4p best ref... I wish this guy could ref every fight.

See how close Zabs gloves went to touching the canvas when he was wobbled? I think he did a great job not to call those knockdowns... on the fly it was difficult to tell if his gloves touched or not imo... and again he let danny and zab go to work.... just a super job.

Yeah I love his style... there is no confusion when he refs... he tells you straight and doesn't take no crap. He has ref'd so many fights and he does a great job in all of them. I don't know how becoming a ref works in boxing but he should teach refs how it should be done.

He has alway been excellent, I like the way he handled the Pavlik/Taylor I fight. Him and Bayless are good referees who don't really draw much attention to themselves.
